Klarna’s valuation slumps to $6.7 billion with $800 million raise

Swedish payments firm Klarna Bank AB on Monday said it has raised $800 million in new financing at a valuation of $6.7 billion, down from a valuation of $46 billion it received last year.

The company said its peers were down 80-90% vs peak valuations and consequently the adjustment in Klarna’s valuation is on par with its public peers from its valuation in June last year.
