E.ON sees energy demand normalising, getting back to pre-pandemic – CFO

E.ON finance chief Marc Spieker on Tuesday said energy demand in the group’s core European regions, with minor variations, was getting back to levels seen before the coronavirus crisis.

“Generally, demand is getting back to pre-crisis levels,” Spieker said in a call with reporters.

“In customer solutions, we see ourselves delivering our sales plans as anticipated. That confirms our confidence for our financial targets this year. The same is true for our networks business, where we see volumes returning to a normal course of business” he added.
